Retreat at Shoalwater
The month of July saw our first 3 night retreat at Shoalwater with 20 ladies attending. A great retreat was had by all with much sewing fun and games and laughter. Many quilts and other projects were either started or finally finished with some exercise in the surrounding gardens led by Madeleine.
Joanne, from Fabric Lane in Mandurah attended with her shop and had a wonderful selection of beautiful and colourful fabrics which many ladies took the opportunity of purchasing. Of course we really needed more fabric!!!
A game of “Strip Poker” was played on Saturday night and became quite a competition by the end with Linda being the winner of 80 2 ½” strips.
All in all a very happy and successful retreat with great company , good food and plenty of wonderful work being done.
