Retreat at Redgum

On Friday 5th September, 2025, eighteen ladies attended at Redgum, Dwellingup for a 3 nights retreat.

After a very wet arrival ladies settled in to the sewing and lounge area with its beautiful views of the surrounding area and plenty of local wildlife visiting us at times. We had a wonderful log fire which kept us warm and comfortable whilst plenty of socialising and sewing was being done.

On Saturday night a raffle was held with several ladies winning prizes. Sunday night’s entertainment was a “Strip Poker” game which was won by Beverley who is now the proud owner of 70 odd jelly roll strips!!!

Catering was supplied by Polly from Wild Thyme Catering and as usual did not disappoint with a delicious and plentiful supply of food.

Our sponsorship shop was Fabric Lane from Mandurah and Joanne had a wide variety of panels, precuts and haberdashery for us to purchase.

Monday saw us having to leave this lovely venue but with plenty of sewing being achieved and more retreat memories being made.
