Busy Bees at Community Quilts

It is always busy at the Community Quilts Busy Bees and the first two this year were well attended by members and a couple of visitors. Walking into the hall, you encounter a hive of activity, everyone is so busy, yet there is plenty of talk and laughter that creates a wonderful atmosphere. Then there is the fabric, so much fabric that has been donated, and used by those in attendance for making quilts to be given to the community.

The Show ‘n’ Tell is always something to look forward to with so many finished quilts on show. Most of the quilts have been worked on by someone in attendance, from making the top, the actual quilting, attaching the binding, sewing on the label or all of those by the same member.

The next Busy Bee is this Sunday (the 4th Sunday of the month) and I’m looking forward to being there.
