Brave the Rain for Maureen Munro

This Wednesday 4th June Maureen Munro of Margaret River Quilting is the guest speaker at the WAQA General Meeting being held at Alexander Park Craft House in Menora. “Quilts are my artform. I discovered my creativity through quilting” Maureen Munro.

Maureen was an Artist in Residence and exhibited her work at the “Stories Quilts Tell” exhibition at Margaret River HEART in March and April this year. If you missed that wonderful exhibition, here is an opportunity to see Maureen and her work.

Maureen will be telling us her story, bringing along her quilts for you to view and answering your questions. I heard she makes quilts using a treadle machine!!

Doors open at 6:30pm and entry is $6.00, cash, card or use your Entry Card. Heaters will be on, and a light supper will be provided along with tea and coffee to warm you up.
