New Life Member and Golden Service Award Recipient

Two awards were handed out at the AGM last night to two very special and amazing longtime WAQA members.

Life Membership is awarded on rare occasions where a member is recognised for giving exceptional service to WAQA over a long period of time as well as meeting all the criteria listed in the Life Member guidelines.

Kerry Moore the current QuiltWest Convenor was awarded Life Membership. Kerry became the 14th member to receive Life Membership and was presented with a Certificate and Gold Life Member Badge.

The Golden Service Award is given to recognize and thank those WAQA members whose contribution to the Association stands out as exceptionally generous over time and who meet all the criteria listed in the Golden Service Award guidelines

The current QuiltWest Treasurer Beverley McDonnell was the recipient of the Golden Service Award. Beverley became the 19th WAQA member to receive a Golden Service Award and received a Framed Fabric Block (made by Meg Cowey) and Certificate.
