Donations of Christmas Placemats

Merry Christmas to all quilters and their families, near and far.

This year 335 Christmas placemats were collected from WAQA members from mid-October to mid-December. The variety of colours, fabrics and techniques used in making the placemats is amazing and makes for a stunning display.

The placemats were distributed to three organisations this year: Pilgrim House in Hamilton Hill received 32, Bethanie Gwelup Aged Care Home received 56 and the remaining 247 went to the City of Stirling Food Services to be delivered with the Christmas meal.

I’m sure everyone enjoyed having their Christmas lunch with these beautiful placemats. Thank you to all for supporting this worthwhile endeavour.
