Are You Up For An International Quilt Challenge?

The Lions Club of Quilters Victoria (LCQV) contacted WAQA about their goal to open a Quilt and Textile Collection that can be visited all year round or by appointment. The LCQV currently have over 50 quilts from great Australian quilters..eg Gloria Loughman, Susan Matthews, Rachel Daisy just to name a few.

An invitation is extended by LCQV to the global community of quilters to participate in an International Quilt Challenge “Our World – Coming Together” with a 40cm x 40cm quilt reflecting aspects of the country in which they live or have a strong connection with. This Challenge celebrates global diversity and is open to quilters of all skill levels. Quilts from all countries will be welcomed into this stunning collection. All quilts entered will be retained by the Quilt & Textile Collection as a permanent, historic “Our World – Coming Together” collection.
